Dry; 6.9% alcohol; slight carbonation; the 2007 Vintage is UNIQUE ... very dry with a "farmyard" aroma and taste akin to the sour beers of Belgium ("bretty" from Brettanomyces wild yeasts). So unusual that many might consider Heritage a challenging taste for the uninitiated.

Another distinctively different cider combining apple with a new "old" fruit, black currant. Semi-sweet; 5.2% alcohol; sparkling; a rich, fruity "mystical" taste; crisp and refreshing; pairs well with grilled meats, chicken, and desserts. Black currants had been outlawed in the U.S. for over 100 years due to a disease they transmitted to white pine. Now new varieties are legal again, and New York has recently lifted the ban. Black Magic fans are thankful!

Q: What is "Wow!"? A: The usual response from tasters sampling our mulled cider. Often accompanied by a dreamy, faraway look as tasters visualize themselves in front of a fire, in a hot tub while it snows, gathered with family and friends during the holidays, insert your favorite cold weather refuge here... We carefully blend some of our favorite spices and package them in easy-to-use "tea bags" so that you can reproduce "wow!" at home. Add one teabag and a little brown sugar to one or two bottles of Bellwether Original or Liberty Spy Hard Cider, simmer until it's warm and spicy and make your escape! Wow!
